During the pandemic, organ donation numbers have decreased. However, thousands of patients are waiting for an organ to hold on to life. This competition aims to draw attention and raise awareness. The artworks that won the prizes in the competition are exhibited in Ankara.

“The 1. International Organ Donation Cartoon Contest Exhibition” organized by the Turkish Transplant Foundation and the Erciyes Transplant Foundation in a shopping center in Kayseri attracted considerable interest.

In the 1st International Organ Donation Cartoon Contest held in May, 55 cartoons that won the appreciation of the jury were exhibited to visitors. The opening of the exhibition at the Istanbul Health Museum was made by the Istanbul Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu and Dr. Eyüp Kahveci, the President of the Turkish Transplant Foundation.

The winners of the Cartoon Contest, which was held for the first time on the international platform in cooperation with the Turkish Transplant Foundation and the Association of Cartoonists, were determined in order to draw attention to organ donation on a global scale and to raise awareness.
